7 Songs on 7 continents in 7 weeks
This series takes a fresh look on what it's like to be a song writer in this modern world. Each episode plays out on a different continent in the countries of Argentina, Laos, Ethiopia, Serbia, Papa New Guinea, the United States of America, and Antarctica.
On Seven introduces Kevin Kennedy iii, a talented but small time artist, who has been writing songs and traveling the world for years, but still hasn't made that one "hit" song yet. Together, with his German manager, David Maass, they hatch a plan to travel the world over the course of seven weeks to produce an album that will put Kevin's brand of surf country music on the map and land him a long awaited record deal.
While on the road, the guys encounter new cultures, make friends, and write music all while outrunning an approaching pandemic, debt, and the typical traveling mishaps. In the end, the search for fame and glory becomes a journey of personal growth and understanding through cultural perspectives, music, and friendship.
